Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic is currently undergoing a medical at Al Jazira, and will complete his switch from Juventus to the Middle Eastern club for a reported €6m.
The goalscorer was then met by officials from the club, before being shown some of their facilities, and then taken to hospital in Abu Dhabi to have the regular checks.
Vucinic is set to sign a two-year deal that will reportedly net him €5m per season. Not bad for a player who was third choice at Juve behind Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente.
The 30-year-old Vucinic won three Serie A titles at Juventus. He joined them in 2011 on a four-year deal from Roma and played key roles in the first two seasons, scoring 21 goals in 72 appearances, including the Uefa Champions League. Last season, he scored only two goals in 16 matches.
He began his career at his hometown club Sutjeska Niksic before his move to the Italian side Lecce at the age of 16 in 2000. He spent six years with them before crossing over to Roma.
