Skriniar Agent Opens Up Possibility Of La Liga Move

Calcio Mercato

Inter Milan’s Milan Skriniar has developed into one of the world’s finest center-backs since his move to San Siro in 2017, and Manchester City have been linked with a January move for the imposing Slovakian to ease their defensive woes.

However, the 24-year-old’s agent, Mithat Halis, has revealed that Skriniar’s next destination is likely to be in La Liga with either Real Madrid or Barcelona.

“Skriniar is worth €100 million,” said Halis (via Italian publication AS).

“Real Madrid and Barcelona are competing for his signing for the last two years. Now Real Madrid are closer to reaching agreement with Inter Milan because they want and they need him much more than Barcelona.”

“Real Madrid have to look for alternatives to their centre-backs, [Sergio] Ramos and [Raphael] Varane”

Inter signed Skriniar from Sampdoria for €28 million in 2017 and he established himself as one of the top defenders not only in Italy, but also in world football.

The Slovakian has played every minute of Inter’s campaign under Antonio Conte this season, making 16 appearances between Serie A and the Champions League.

Any offer of around €100m will be difficult for Inter to turn down, especially with €70m+ profit under Financial Fair Play.

Do you think Inter will sell Milan Skriniar next summer?
