The 22-year-old starhas been out of action since mid-March due to a torn thigh muscle and is not expected to return to first team training until May 6, the day after the first leg tie in Turin .
A statement released by Juventus on Thursday read:
“The MRI scan taken by Paul Pogba this afternoon revealed that the player has made further progress in his recovery from a torn thigh muscle.
“The player will undergo a personalised recovery regime before potentially returning to full training with the group on Wednesday.”
Juve can wrap up another Serie A title this weekend, and it will be interesting to see if they try and rush Pogba back for the second leg, or whether they will shut him down for the season, if things go badly on Tuesday?
