Inter posted a statement on their website on Sunday, which read:
‘FC Internazionale Milano announces that Radja Nainggolan is temporarily suspended from football activity for disciplinary reasons.’
It is not the first time the 30-year-old has got into trouble with the club he plays for. He posted a video in January of himself smoking and drinking on Instagram.
His employers at the time, Roma, dropped him for their next match against Atalanta. Nainggolan later apologised for posting the video and joined Inter in the summer.
The Belgian midfielder joined Inter for €25 million but has struggled to make an impact at his new club.
Inter were hoping Nainggolan would be a marquee signing but has only scored two goals in 11 Serie A appearances in an injury-plagued campaign.
