According to Calciomercato, Inter winger Ivan Perisic wants to leave at the end of the season. The 27-year-old only joined Inter from Wolfsburg in 2015 but has asked his agent to begin looking for a new club to move to next summer.
Perisic reportedly has a strained relationship with new manager Frank de Boer and has ambitions to play in the Champions League.
The Nerazzurri failed to qualify for Europe’s top club competition last season, and have endured a mixed start to the current campaign.
In addition, Perisic is thought to be irritated by his salary, with new signing Gabriel Barbosa earning more than he does.
The English Premier League is believed to be the 27-year-old’s preferred destination, though Inter are hoping an improved contract will convince him to stay.
Funny how players go away on international duty and start talking to friends at other clubs, and then some back unhappy and disillusioned. Hopefully a good run of form by Inter and Perisic will make this talk go away, as with Perisic on one side and Antonio Candreva on the other side, I think Inter have the two best wingers in Serie A/
