Impressive on Training Borriello To Start for Roma Next Week

80th anniversary matchHaving been left out from the Italian national squad that plays in the Euro 2012 qualifying round doesn’t seem to be a bad thing for Marco Borriello as it gives him time to prepare with his new club, As Roma.

Staying in Roma for the International weeks, left Borriello the time to practice and get to know his teammates more just before the Giallorossi’s upcoming match this upcoming weekend.

Although the former Ac Milan striker has just arrived at the final day of the market, it looks like his short training spell have been very impressive as reports suggested that he could get a starting spot next weekend.

The media claim that Roma’s coach, Claudio Ranieri, has been very impressed with Borriello’s form in training and will consider him to immediately start alongside Francesco Totti next weekend. The 28-years-old striker who already scored two goals on training will probably take Mirko Vucinic’s place in the squad on Saturday considering that the Montenegro striker would be tired from International duty.

Being considered as one of the top Italian strikers on the league, Borriello surely hopes that he could cemented his position in Roma this season in order to get a place at Prandelli’s Italian national team again. The striker already made a decision to left Milan for Giallorossi in order to get more playing time that he might not get at San Siro after the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robinho.

Surely the competition in Roma would still be stiffed especially should Adriano managed to regain his old form, however it seems that Borriello’s chances to play as starter is bigger at the capital club rather than at Milan. Last season, the Italian international caught the eyes of many Italian pundits after managed to score in total of 15 goals for the Rossoneri with most of them were done in a very classy way.
