The Serie A side have made no secret of their desire to take the German, who will become a free agent in the summer.
Can is yet to sign a new deal with Liverpool, and has been linked with Juve throughout the course of the campaign.
The situation remains unclear, with Can in recent weeks confirming he would only be concentrating on the ongoing season, before permitting his agent to sort out his future once the summer window opens.
Speaking this week however, Juve chief Marotta has again outlined an ambition to bring the highly-rated Can to Turin.
‘We’re ready to take any opportunities, I won’t deny we are concentrated on Emre Can and awaiting his response. That is our primary objective’ Marotta told MediaSet premium.
‘We are periodically pointed to as a club that buys players. We have a squad suited to three tournaments and it meets our needs.’
The Italian did however confirm the club are willing to move on, should their attempts to take the Liverpool man prove ultimately to be unsuccessful.
He added: ‘If there is a negative response, we’ll move our attention on to other players.’
While Juve may have their attention on acquiring players of other European sides, they have in recent weeks found themselves subject to being prey.
Reports have been circulating regarding a possible PSG move for manager Massimiliano Allegri, following their failure to make the last eight of the Champions League this season under current boss Unai Emery.
When asked about the potential departure of the manager, Marotta was quick to dispel any rumours.
‘Our coach has a contract with us for many more years,’ he said. ‘Above all, the rapport with the club and directors is excellent.’
