Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang put AC Milan fans on alert as the Borussia Dortmund striker revealed he wants to return to his old club. The Gabon forward was answering fan questions in a video and quipped:
‘I want to go back but they (Milan) are sleeping, what can I do?’
Aubameyang’s brother even comments on the clip, saying:
‘Come back to Milan.
In his Instagram live story, the prolific striker fielded questions from a number of supporters around the world.
And having started his career at AC Milan before being sold to St Etienne, there are clearly those at the San Siro that would like to see the pacey front-man return to Northern Italy.
It’s unclear how sincere Aubameyang’s reply is as he has a broad grin on his face whilst answering the question.
But it seems the 28-year-old is set to remain with his current side despite effectively issuing a come-and-get-me plea to AC Milan.
Dortmund assured fans their talisman would be staying this season and he is already off to a flyer.
Aubameyang netted a hat-trick this season as Dortmund overcame FC Rielasingen-Arlen 4-0 in the German Cup.
