Just getting into the early stage of the season, As Roma already felt the negative aspect of tight schedule caused by the Euro 2012 qualifying round as they will lose their defender, John Arne Riise who was injured during his international duty.
The left back reportedly suffered a head injury while training for his country Norway in their preparation to play against Portugal on the Euro Qualifying round. Riise got the injury after coming off worse in an aerial duel against his own teammates Espen Ruud and was sent for immediate check up at hospital after the incident.

The speculation that briefly occurred last summer regarding the future of Juventus’ defender Giorgio Chiellini, could finally be resolved soon as the latest reports suggested that he is set to continue his adventure in Turin.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, after months of negotiation Chiellini’s agent, Davide Lippi has finally struck an agreement with Juventus’ management that will keep the 26-years-old for five more years and received around 4 million Euro per season. Despite already making lots of signings in the summer, it looks like Juventus still have a plan to make another purchase on the January transfer market as they reports stated that they are looking for a new striker.

Having been left out from the Italian national squad that plays in the Euro 2012 qualifying round doesn’t seem to be a bad thing for Marco Borriello as it gives him time to prepare with his new club, As Roma.
Staying in Roma for the International weeks, left Borriello the time to practice and get to know his teammates more just before the Giallorossi’s upcoming match this upcoming weekend.

After making two major signings in the last weeks of the transfer market, Ac Milan are feeling very confident about their season as not only aiming to end Inter Milan’s winning streak in the league, the Rossoneri also hope to have a successful campaign in the Champions League.
This voice of confidence was shout out by the coach Massiliano Allegri who believes that with the current players he have on the squad, the Rossoneri should do well in Europe stating that getting into the final in London should be the team’s new target.

As Roma’s new signing, Marco Borriello, made the headline after making a surprising switch from Ac Milan to the capital club just few hours before the transfer window closed despite being heavily linked with Juventus not long before that.
Revealing his decision to the press, Borriello stated that one of the main reasons he choses to play for the Giallorossi instead of Juve was because the persuasive text message send to him by Daniele De Rossi.
“I said no to Juventus because I am a sensible person and when I heard the President speak and I read the text message from De Rossi which gave me goosebumps, I immediately accepted,” Borriello said. “He text me to tell me to come here and ended with ‘we are going to win’.” Read more... Ac Milan made a surprising effort on the transfer market in the last weeks of the window as they not only managed to acquire Zlatan Ibrahimovic but also Brazilian star, Robinho, right on the last day of the transfer window.
The former Machester City’s man arrival was indeed a big surprise not only to the media and fans but also for Milan’s coach, Massimiliano Allegri, who didn’t even see it coming.

Ac Milan started their league campaign in a blistering pace as they demolished their opponents Lecce 4-0 with a wonderful performance especially by Ronaldinho and Alexandre Pato.

After having an unclear and complicated future, finally Diego Ribas ended his courtship with Juventus and officially went to Wolfsburg earlier this week.
Despite feeling relief that everything has already being clear up, the former Werder Bremen star still has something to say for the Bianconeri’s management that decided to sell him.
