La Liga Duo Benzema and Ibrahimovic Linked To Serie A

The two players who cost Spanish club’s Real Madrid and their arch rivals Barcelona a combined 81 million Euros may be leaving La Liga after only 1 season. Karim Benzema and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are rumoured to be heading to Juventus and Milan respectively.

The Ibrahimovic links come as no surprise as the Blaugrana are keen on disposing off the 29 year old who had a less than impressive debut season with the champions, however, the Benzema transfer could be worth keeping an eye on.

Real’s new coach Jose Mourinho is expected to make drastic changes at the Bernabeu which could see players like Kaka, Benzema and Diarra struggle for regular playing time.

Kaka is out of action for 4 months after suffering a knee injury that was rectified by specialists early this month while Benzema is up against stiff competition for a regular starting role. Both players did not impress in their debut season’s despite being tipped to be the players who would take Madrid to new heights. Kaka scored 8 goals while Benzema scoring 9 times.

The Bianconeri are now said to be pursuing Benzema who could be a possible replacement for Trezeguet. It will be a case of one Frenchman for another with Trezeguet possibly moving on loan to Liverpool.

AC Milan on the other hand seem to be very keen on the idea of landing Ibrahimovic. The Swede is considered to be surplus to requirements after the arrival of perennial striker David Villa.

Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani has even gone a step further to declare official talks between both clubs open. Ibrahimovic would have to take a significant pay cut to join the Rossoneri.

Reports say that  Milan would offer the Swede 6 Million Euros with Barca paying the rest of the fee that will be agreed on. Where there is smoke there has to be fire and Ibrahimovic could very soon be a Rossoneri.

As for Juventus, if the land Benzema, then not even Inter stands a chance of winning the scudetto.
