Juventus Add Wingers Collection

JuveJuventus management continues their hunt in the transfer market by confirming the signing of Emanuele Giaccherini in a part co-ownership deal with Cesena worth around 3 million Euro, which also saw the Bianconeri loaning out Jorge Martinez to the other way.

Giacherini signed the deal with the Turin giant on Thursday afternoon right after passing his medical test few hours earlier, the payment for the agreement reportedly is paid over the course of three years.

Giaccherini has been considered as one of Cesena’s best players last season, attracting the eye of several clubs in Italy, but eventually it was Juve who got their hand on the player, who is really admired by the Turin giant’s coach, Antonio Conte. The 26-years-old might get his break through should he managed to do well with the Bianconeri this season, but should things didn’t go out well for him than there’s always a chance for a return to Cesena because of the co-ownership agreement.

Giaccherini, who can play as a winger or second striker, looks set to be placed as one of the two attacking wide players on Conte’s 4-2-4 system, and on paper the position could pretty much suits him well. However, there’s definitely a bigger pressure for the 26-years-old to perform well in a big team like Juventus rather than Cesena, simply because the fans demands are very huge because the Bianconeri haven’t been doing well in the last couple seasons.

Beside Giaccherini, reports from Italy suggested that the Bianconeri are really close in signing another wide player, Marcelo Alejandro Estigarribia, a left winger who is also Paraguayan international. Reports stated that the 23-years-old will be sign in a loan deal worth about 450.000 million Euro with a purchase option in 2012 for only around 5 million Euro. This two players arrivals correlated well with the Turin giant’s management promise of purchasing two or three more players in the last week of the transfer market.
