Galliani Turns His Attention To Summer Transfer Window

Mario-Balotelli-AC-MilanEven before Saturday’s match against Roma, AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani already had turned his attentions to the summer transfer market.

The Rossoneri were handed a 3-1 defeat at the San Siro, as the Giallorossi piled more misery on Cristian Brocchi’s men. Mario Balotelli, especially, will be worried about his fate as he was substituted at half-time.

Galliani was coy when it came to clarifying the future of the 25-year-old, whereas he’s not completely closed the door on a possible move for Paris Saint-Germain’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

“For now Balotelli’s status is as a loaned player [and nothing more],” the Rossoneri vice-president told Premium Sport. “We will speak with Liverpool in the summer when we’ll have plenty of time to clear up his situation.

“Signing Ibrahimovic is very tough as there are many clubs after him. It’s especially difficult as it requires us to make an offer that many Italian teams are not capable of. But we’ll see.”

Balotelli has scored just one Serie A goal during his time in Milan, but can look forward to one final chance in the Coppa Italia final against Juventus to convince the club to keep him.

As for Ibrahimovic, he is set to leave the French capital at the end of the season after announcing that he won’t renew his deal.

I wouldnt mind if balotelli stayed. But not instead of zlatan. Ibwould LOVE to see hime back hes still an effective footballer even at his age. I want them to re-sign riccardo saponara. They never should have sold him to begin with. And i doubt they can but bring el sharaawy back and play a 4231. Maybe someone better to llay on the right and a mid field destroyer.
