Five Serie A Clubs Make Forbes Top 20 List

top-20-valuableFor maybe the last time in the foreseeable future, Inter, Roma and Napoli have made Forbes top 20 list of the valuable football clubs in the world.

I see foreseeable future as Inter are currently ranked 16th, Roma 18th and Napoli 19th. Wth the massive influx of TV money into the Premier League next season it is easy to envision a scenario where all three clubs drop out of the top 20.

The most valuable clubs are Real Madrid ($3.65B), Barcelona ($3.55B) and Manchester United ($3.32B). These three clubs are playing in a different financial game than anyone else in world football.

With their own stadium, reaching the Champions League finals and five consecutive titles, Juventus are far and away the strongest club in Serie A in terms of finances and valuation.

By owing its own stadium, Juventus brings in over $100m in matchday revenue than any other Serie A side, a huge financial advantage.
