Corinthians Confirmed Interest on Pato

Paris Saint Germain apparently aren’t the only one who still reserve an interest towards Ac Milan’s currently injured striker, Alexandre Pato, as the latest news revealed that Brazilian club, Corinthians, has also confirmed their affection towards the player.

According to the Brazil outfit’s Sporting Director, Duilio Alves, his team is very interested in taking Pato next summer, even only in a loan basis as they believe the young striker could still give a lot if he recovers from his injury.

However, despite already admitting his club’s interest in taking Pato, Alves revealed that at the moment there hasn’t been any serious discussion being done between him, the player and also Milan. The sporting director believes that the 22-years-old is a quality player that could provide another dimension on Corinthians attacking play, that’s why he is even willing to buy the striker permanently should the Rossoneri are considering of selling.

“I like the idea of signing Pato, but I haven’t talked with him yet. Pato is a great player, and he would be very welcome here at Corinthians. We want a world class striker to add a new dimension to the club, whether it’s a permanent deal or a loan,” Alves revealed.

Corinthians idea of getting Pato might actually be a good one as well for Milan, especially since the Brazilian team wouldn’t mind on getting him on loan, instead of purchasing him like what Paris St Germain are eying. Considering that the 22-years-old has been having serious injury issues, getting a new environment which might be a little bit more comforting that European football might regain his confidence even more and makes him even more ready by the time he returns for the Rossoneri.

Pato himself is currently working to recover again from his injury problem, which has become such a chronic issue this season, forcing him to absent in most of the Rossoneri matches so far. Considering the fear of another set back, not long ago, Milan’s tactician, Massimiliano Allegri, decided that it would be best that the 22-years-old would rest until the end of this season so he can recover properly in the summer.
