Chelsea Join Race For Inter Milan's Sneijder

Quel simpaticone di WesleyDespite not having an exceptional season, Inter Milan’s playmaker, Wesley Sneijder, didn’t lose his charm as reports stated that many big clubs especially those from the premier league are seriously eying for his signature.

After Manchester United previously being highly linked with the Dutchman, the latest report in England, suggested that Chelsea also joins the race to capture the ex-Real Madrid player, as the Blues’ supposedly future manager, Guus Hiddink, is very keen on Sneijder.

Although Hiddink is still not being confirmed as the new Chelsea coach, but the media in England believes that it would just be a matter of time and coming from the same country as Sneijder, it’s very likely that the deal might eventually happens. The 27-years-old midfielder himself, reportedly is also keen on tasting the premier league competition although he did recently claimed that he wants to stay at Nerazzurri.

However, after spending a rather disappointing year at Inter, there’s a big chance that should the right offer arrives, Sneijder won’t hesitate to leave the Nerazzurri as the player may feel he already won everything with the fashion capital team after getting the treble two season ago. Should Hiddink does become Chelsea’s coach, the Blues might definitely get an advantage over Manchester United, considering the 27-years-midfielder would probably feel easier working with a manager from the same country.

Still, all of the current news are nothing more than speculation as it definitely won’t be easy for Chelsea or any other premier league team to prize up, Sneijder, as Inter would be looking for some good investment for the deal. However, it seems that the amount round 30 million Euro will be more than enough to take the Dutch midfielder away, since the Nerazzurri did bought the player in a discount prize from Real Madrid, as at that time the club are keen to find quick buyer.
