Samuel Eto’o scored twice as Inter Milan beat Bologna 4-1 as the champions made it four consecutive wins under new coach Leonardo. Inter are up to fourth in Serie A, with two games in hand, are just five points behind second-placed Napoli, who drew 0-0 with Fiorentina, and eight points adrift of AC Milan ahead of the leaders’ trip to Lecce on Sunday.

AC Milan extended their lead to six points in Serie A despite a 4-4 home draw with Udinese, though SSC Napoli will be hoping to close in on the Rossoneri when they host Juventus later.
Fans at San Siro were treated to an eight-goal thriller as Milan came from behind three times to force a 4-4 draw. Pato cancelled out Antonio Di Natale’s 35th-minute opener on the stroke of half-time only for Alexis Sánchez (53) and Di Natale (66) to put the visitors 3-1 up, but the hosts rallied through a Medhi Benatia own goal (78) and a second Pato strike (82). Germán Denis (89) then grabbed what looked to be the winner with a minute remaining, yet the league leaders salvaged a point via Zlatan Ibrahimović in added time.
Ac Milan looks set to keep their top stop just before the winter break as after the results in Serie A Week 16 favors them especially with Lazio slipping away in Turin which allowed the Rossoneri to take a 6 point lead over three teams in joint second place positions.
Massimiliano Allegri’s side went on to grab a convincing three points away to Bologna with another fine performance resulting in three wonderful goals, while the Biancocelesti last minute howler cost them a valuable one point against Juventus.
Another negative news emerged for Juventus just after their draw against Bologna last Sunday as after the report of another injury for Carvalho Amauri, there’s a chance that the Bianconeri might be loosing another player for their next few matches due to a misconduct.
The player that Juve could be missing for the games against Ac Milan and Cesena in the next few weeks is their new talisman, Milos Krasic, who was being accused of unsporting conduct after committing a dive last Sunday.
The spending spree is not over at least for Juventus. The Turin club intends on reinforcing their squad once the January transfer window gets underway. This comes only days after former player Diego revealed that team mate Edin Dzeko was keen on leaving the Bundesliga for Juventus.
It is however unlikely that Dzeko will join the Bianconeri in January. Wolfsburg have placed a 30 million Euro price tag on the Bosnian international with Juve having already worked out a formula on how they intend to pay the fee.
Club General Manager Beppe Marotta has revealed that the club will be active in January.
The Italian Serie A season gets underway this weekend after a 3 month break with some very mouth watering fixtures key among them being the Udinese v Genoa, Fiorentina v Napoli and Sampdoria v Lazio matches.
This will however not be like any other previous season as the strategic buying that most clubs employed means that the league will be more competitive than previously thought. A good example would have to be Juventus.
While Inter still remain as favourites to repeat their epic treble, the Bianconeri cannot be ruled out especially after acquiring some very talented players. Milos Krasic, Simone Pepe and Leonardo Bonucci are just a few of these players.

History:
Bologna has a very rich history of excellent play, but the squad’s recent results have been rather poor. Since their founding in 1909, they have won seven Serie A titles, but their last championship came back in the early 1960s. They also have won the Coppa Italia twice, but they have failed to hoist that trophy in approximately 40 years.
