Daniele De Rossi made a pretty interesting statement recently which reportedly alerted Ac Milan even more in their attempt to prize up the As Roma midfielder as his contract will expire next season if no new deal can be concluded.
After previously being highly linked with mainly foreign clubs, De Rossi finally revealed that he could still stay in in Italy and play for another team aside from the Giallorossi, should he can’t reach an agreement with his current club or interested teams outside of Italy.

A worrying news arrives from Fiorentina camp ahead of their upcoming difficult tie against Ac Milan on Saturday as reports from Italy suggested that the Viola might be missing Stevan Jovetic due to injury.
Revealed by the Florence based club’s website, Jovetic reportedly picked up a muscular lesion during the player’s international duty with Montenegro this past weekend, the club’s medical team is monitoring the injury and hoping that Jojo could make the Milan game. As Roma suffered a big blow for their back line as Nicolas Burdisso picked up a nasty injury recently which will force the Argentinian to be sidelined for most likely the whole season.

Successfully topping the Serie A table once again, Udinese through their manager, Francesco Guidolin, once again revealed that winning the Scudetto isn’t something that his team are targeting especially with top teams such as Juventus and Ac Milan are starting to find their form.
Speaking to the Italian media, Guidolin confessed that the main goal for his team this season remain unchanged from last year, which is qualifying for European competition, obviously getting into the Champions League again would be the main issue for them. AC Milan have announced that forward Antonio Cassano will undergo a “small heart operation” to resolve the problem that caused him to suffer an ischemic stroke on Saturday.
Cassano was hospitalised immediately after his team returned from their 3-2 win at AS Roma, with the 29-year-old struggling to talk or stand still. The Italian international underwent several tests in the following 72 hours and the cause of the stroke was identified as an atrial septal defect – a congentital heart problem which means the septum, the muscular wall separating the heart’s left and right ventricles, does not close properly. AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri says his team will be playing for Antonio Cassano against BATE in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Cassano has spent the last two days in hospital after being taken ill following the 3-2 win over Roma.
Reports from Italian news agency Ansa claimed he had suffered a stroke.
“We’ll be playing for Antonio. Quite apart from the sporting element, what counts most is the human aspect and we’re all feeling sad.” said Allegri.

After suffering a defeat in their last league games, two Serie A top teams, Inter Milan and As Roma changed their script this weekend as both teams picked up a slim but important victory for their league campaign.

Serie A Sunday fixtures provide mainly dull events especially the afternoon matches which mostly ended with a 0-0 draw, including the results for two current league leaders, Juventus and Udinese.

Serie A Saturday fixtures yesterday left a bitter experience for two Serie A top teams, Inter Milan and Napoli, as both picked up a defeat while in the other hand, Ac Milan revived themselves by getting a convincing victory.
The Nerazzurri didn’t share the same result as their their city rival this weekend after being pinned back by Catania 2-1, while Napoli surprisingly were beaten by struggling Parma at San Paolo.
