The striking thing about the Milan wage bill is that Luiz Adriano is the only big name signed beyond the 2018/2019 season. On one hand that gives the new ownership group maximum flexibility in reshaping the team over the next couple of seasons. On the other hand, they do not have a lot of time to make decisions on whether to offer players new contracts to keep them in Milan.
